I Dream

In the last decade-and-a-half that India has successfully embraced reforms, a curious problem has haunted the country and vexed its policy-makers: India’s excellent growth has had little impact on its social indicators and India is likely to miss achieving the Millennium Development Goals in respect of health, nutrition, sanitation and gender. This clearly suggests failure of government programmes and delivery.
